Sulae is the teenage daughter of a friend of mine and she agreed for me to paint her portrait on a giant canvas. I had a lot of fun painting this using various mixed media techniques such as acrylics, spray paint, stencils, imitation gold leaf & collage. In creating this piece I wanted to portray life & hopefullness in the midst of a town that presents a lot of darkness & challenges for its youth.
